A valuation is generally required for finance, insurance or repossession purposes. We will inspect every aspect of the vessel for cosmetic condition and operational capability and compare our findings to similar vessels to determine the market value of the craft.
Valuations may be required for a number of purposes, to include market value (between a willing buyer and willing seller), forced sale value (between a willing buyer and unwilling seller) and insurance value (replacement cost).
Market factors, vessel specification and condition and any works required to return a vessel to service will be assessed to determine a fair and accurate value.
A 'Certificate of Valuation' will be produced, with additional copies for third parties, such as insurers and finance houses supplied as required.
Typically, we can complete the valuation alongside a full condition free of charge or with an insurance level pre-purchase survey for a small additional fee.
