Work Specifications & Procedures

work_specifications_procedures

We are often instructed to develop working procedures for a variety of purposes from evaluation of current health and safety procedures to arranging a detailed, chronological work schedule for vessel refurbishment or to bring a vessel back into class.

This typically involves the raising of stability diagrams, mechanical overhauls, systems testing and sea trials.  We will project manage the whole process.

Following the completion of our procedures we can then attend for the final phase, whether it be commisioning, commercial compliance and class coding.  Our detailed commercial and small craft survey options allow for the raising of professional reports to satisfy insurance requirements.

Two examples of specialised procedures include the work specification for the re-fitting, slipping, survey and shipment of an ex-military Landing Craft LCVP Mark IV and the raising of a working procedure to bring ex-Royal Navy tenders (Warship and Seaplane) into current commercial specification.

Due to the individual nature of each work specification please contact us for further information.
